Tutorials for learners

Six essential guides to start working on Furago and understand your progress.

I am a teacher
1

Create my account and get started

By the end of this tutorial, your account will be ready and Furago will be able to record your progress.

  1. Open the Create an account page and enter an email address that you check regularly.
  2. Choose a password, accept the terms of use, and submit the form.
  3. Open the email sent by Furago and select the confirmation link.
  4. Follow the welcome steps: optional personal information, a username, an optional group, and your starting level.
  5. At the end of the setup, open the Goals page to see the suggested work.
If a teacher invited you, preferably use the same email address that you provided to your institution.
2

Join a group

Your teacher must send you an invitation link or an access code.

  1. Log in to your Furago account.
  2. Open the link you received or go to Join a group.
  3. Enter the access code exactly as written, including its letters and numbers, then select Join the group.
  4. Check that the group appears under My groups.
  5. Return to Goals: the work assigned by your teacher now appears there.
An unknown code is usually incomplete or belongs to another group. Ask your teacher to send it again.
3

Find and understand my goals

The Goals page brings together your personal work and the assignments from your groups.

  1. Open the Goals page.
  2. Start with the recommendations at the top of the page when they are available.
  3. Look for goals marked with a blue dot: they are part of the work assigned by a teacher.
  4. Check each goal’s due date and progress bar.
  5. Select a goal name or its main action to continue the associated exercises.

The Goal map also shows the available skill areas and levels for your personal work.

4

Complete an exercise and understand my score

Your first attempt lets you discover the exercise and determines whether you will need to review it.

  1. Start an exercise from your goals or from the Exercises section.
  2. Read the instructions and review the document, image, or audio before answering.
  3. Submit each answer and read the correction or feedback.
  4. Use the next button until you reach the exercise’s final result.
  5. If you have not fully mastered the exercise, it may be added to your review list automatically.
A mistake is not a penalty: it helps schedule the reviews you need to consolidate your learning.
5

Manage my review list

Furago spaces reviews over time to strengthen your long-term memory.

  1. From the Goals page, open the Reviews tab.
  2. Start with the exercises currently available; the others will reappear on their scheduled dates.
  3. Repeat the exercise and focus on correcting the difficulties you encountered previously.
  4. When an exercise becomes eligible for removal, choose whether to remove it from the list or keep it for a future review.
  5. Keep fewer than ten reviews available so that you can continue discovering new exercises.

If you cannot use your microphone, temporarily enable no-microphone mode from the Reviews page.

6

Take a test and view my result

An online test is assigned by a teacher and must be completed in a single session.

  1. Open the test from your goals or from the online tests list.
  2. Read the number of questions and the instructions before you begin.
  3. Allow enough time: once started, a test cannot be saved and completed later.
  4. Answer each section, then use the final button to save your grade.
  5. Once saved, the grade is final and becomes visible in your progress record.
Check your connection, sound, and availability before starting the test.
