Use quand même to say that something happens despite a difficulty or an opposite situation.

  • Il pleut, mais je vais quand même au parc. (It’s raining, but I’m going to the park anyway.)
  • Elle est fatiguée, elle travaille quand même. (She’s tired, but she’s working anyway.)
  • Tu n’as pas étudié, tu as réussi quand même ! (You didn’t study, and you still passed!)
