Plusieurs + ∅ noun
Plusieurs is used to indicate an undetermined number but more than one.
- Plusieurs étudiants participent activement en classe. (Several students actively participate in class.)
- Il achète plusieurs journaux chaque matin. (He buys several newspapers every morning.)
Chaque + ∅ noun
Chaque refers to every element of a set, taken individually.
- Chaque matin, il prend son petit déjeuner à 7 h. (Every morning, he has his breakfast at 7am.)
- Chaque élève reçoit un manuel. (Each student receives a manual.)
Tous / toutes + determinant + noun
Tous refers to all the elements or people of a group, without exception.
- Tous les jours, elle se promène dans le parc. (Every day, she takes a walk in the park.)
- Toutes ces voitures sont électriques. (All these cars are electric.)
- Tous mes amis viennent pour mon anniversaire. (All my friends are coming for my birthday.)
